Dr. Boakye will thoroughly inspect your moles and assess any skin abnormalities during a comprehensive skin cancer screening. This important check helps identify potential signs of skin cancer early, including basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and melanoma, the three most common types of skin cancer. She will also teach you how to perform regular skin self-examinations to monitor changes in your moles, as early detection is key to successful treatment. Additionally, Dr. Boakye will provide essential sun protection tips to prevent skin damage and reduce your risk of developing skin cancer.

A $50 deposit is required to book your consultation and goes towards your visit after you are evaluated by Dr. Boakye. An appointment must be booked within 30 days of purchasing.

A $50 deposit is required to access the online scheduler and book your consultation. Once your deposit is submitted, you’ll be directed to our online scheduler to select an available appointment time.

This deposit will be applied to the cost of your visit after your evaluation with Dr. Boakye. Please note: you must book your appointment within 30 days of submitting the deposit.

    Best Dermatologist!

    I have been seeing Dr. Boakye for more than 15 years and could not recommend her more highly. As a redhead, I am especially vigilant about caring for my skin and committed to catching any changes early, and Dr. Boakye is every bit as thorough and proactive as I am. She is extremely attentive during my annual skin checks, a wonderful listener, and always takes the time to address my questions and concerns. On the few occasions when she has needed to take a skin sample for further testing, her skill and precision have been remarkable, and I have had no visible scarring, which has not always been my experience with other providers. I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, caring, and meticulous dermatologist.

    Great first experience for my skin checkup

    Bergen dermatology has a very tranquil and welcoming environment within the office . There was no confusion with booking, directions or how to show up to my appointment because they were thorough with their communication.

    My experience was fantastic, all questions I had were listened to and answered . The office was felt super clean and had a healing aura within .

    Would absolutely recommend.

    Dr. Boakye has been my dermatologist for many years. I’ve stayed with her all this time despite moving further from her office because she spends the time to get to know how I’m feeling, what my concerns are, and advises on things that can help me.     Skin Examination

    I see Dr. B several times a year and she is nothing short of exceptional. She spends quality time with each patient, and provides medical information as well as other health suggestions, that show how much she cares for the whole person. Her knowledge and expertise are unsurpassed, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
